PATREON - Is It Time For #MeToo To Remember Its Heart? The heart of abuse is seeing ANY person as “less than”.

“Today’s article is a surprise because I started writing about the realization of equality and ended up writing an article about the #MeToo movement! This is a rather scary thing to talk about with so many people blinded by righteousness and rage (which has, understandably, been caused by our collective wounds of abuse all coming forward to be addressed and healed). So, as ever, know that I am wounded and fallible too, and please take what resonates and leave the rest as I try to navigate this emotive topic from a place of love.

With love, Story

When people are dumping their pain on the delightful Dame Judy Dench for daring to say a kind word about Kevin Spacey by sharing how he helped her in a time of need, then I think it is time to take a step back and get a little perspective.”

PATREON - Prejudice Is Prejudice — Will People Be Apologizing To Mediums In 20 Years? : Who does your left-brain still identify as being deserving of scorn?

“What will people be apologizing for in twenty years’ time that they are doing openly today without criticism?”

Writing of this article was triggered by watching Joel McHale on his Netflix show accuse Tyler Henry (a psychic / medium from the show Hollywood Medium) of being a conman in two successive episodes.

How is it that an otherwise decent person can, in a premeditated way, choose to aggressively and righteously attack another human being through the belief they deserve to be attacked?"

PATREON - Do Not Fear Death — It Feels Like Waking From A Dream : To Die Is To Awaken In The Reality Of Your Wider Self.

"The most surprising aspect of death is that it isn’t weird. In fact, it is the opposite of weird. This is because…

To die is to leave the “weird” experience of being human, and return to the “normal” experience of being eternal-consciousness.

This is because you are returning to the state of consciousness you return to after every life. It is therefore your most common experience. Even though you may have had thousands of lives; they are each different from each other. But, when you die, you repeatedly return to a state you know well."

PATREON - Two Impossible Coincidences About My Name : You’ll probably just conclude I have to be lying.

PATREON - Two Impossible Coincidences About My Name : You’ll probably just conclude I have to be lying.

"These coincidences are so unbelievable, that despite how I write about the allowance of the unknown and the unexpected, I have told relatively few people about them from a fear that all, but the most open-minded people, would conclude I must be lying.

A part of releasing my writing on medium (where it is exposed to a wider audience than previously) is that I want to face my fears of the world’s reaction. While watching the documentary it felt like it was time to openly share these two unbelievable coincidences and experience whatever reaction they evoke.

I don’t know yet if there is a spiritual teaching here; maybe just a demonstration in not allowing the fear of not being believed to silence you."

PATREON - How We Use Our Fears To Shape Ourselves : Face your fears to become the self you always intended.

PATREON - How We Use Our Fears To Shape Ourselves : Face your fears to become the self you always intended.

"Fear is a cage we have used to limit ourselves and focus our individuality. As you face each of your fears, you will go through a continual process of freeing yourself from the mental cages they create.

Fears are cages within cages, mazes within mazes, and must be faced to experience the infinite nature of your spirit.

Do not be concerned that as you exit one cage, you will probably find yourself within another. The cages of fear we experience in this life are not a hardship to be eradicated to “get to the good bit.” They are a powerful focusing tool used by our consciousness to shape our experience of self.

You purposefully created all the challenges in your life because you wanted to experience them and be changed through that experience."

FREE - The Greatest Showman’s Song “Never Enough” Liberated Me : The incredible moment I accepted my deepest emotional wound.

“But instead of feeling horror, I felt freed. I felt free because it meant I was now seeing and understanding the wound within me so clearly that never again would its unwelcome force unbalance me. In seeing the futility of my efforts to heal something that was unhealable, I was free of its negative affect on me. Positively buzzing during the performance, I saw the possibility of living with the void still inside of me, but now I would no longer fall into its emptiness.”

FREE - What You Hate About Yourself Is A Gift : Experience Your Perfection Through Loving Your Imperfections.

"We knowingly chose every aspect of who we are, regardless of whether we see that aspect as positive or negative. We give ourselves qualities that can be hard to accept because of how these “imperfections” shape our lives in powerful ways.

I am someone who has worked as a speaker for the last twelve years, and yet … I used to hate my voice. I was bullied at school for sounding gay. My class used to laugh at me whenever I had to read out loud. The act of speaking became a source of pain to me and I was petrified of speaking in front of people I didn’t know.

Learning to appreciate our reasons for choosing the parts of ourselves that are most different (and difficult to accept) is a part of loving who and what we are."

PATREON - The Spiritual Insight That Brought Me To Tears : How being shown paradise broke my heart open.

"The depth of emotion that you can experience when you let yourself speak from the heart is powerful. Just as with my writing, when I speak I let the words spontaneously emerge.

To allow your emotions to engulf you, you cannot censor yourself. To speak without a filter is to not be afraid of what you may say, even though you are lost within an uncontrolled stream of consciousness.

This was a weekend internet broadcast that I and my husband held with a small in-person audience also present. We were exploring what it is to be human and what is so special about having polarized-perception. Polarized-perception is the ability to see things as separate and diverse.

Paradoxically it was from this appreciation of duality that I experienced an untwisting of my dualistic-perception and a perceptual-curtain was pulled back to reveal a vision of reality that showed all life to be like books in an infinite library of selves. As we move between realities we move between books."

PATREON - The Gnostic Writer—How I Let The Words Talk : Let the words tell you what *they* want to say.

"I want the freedom to just let my words be as they are and evolve as they want. This is for me to take a journey of discovery, instead of embarking on a quest to create something I have already seen.

I do not want to be constantly measuring “where I am” against a mental-idea of “where I want to be” — as this is basically the choice to live in a constant experience of lack (even if that is an ever-decreasing lack).

I want to live in the abundance of new experiences of discovery through allowing my writing to be itself."
